Blaydon Writers
This is what you said....

NOW YOU HAVE READ THE STORIES PLEASE e mail YOUR COMMENTS TO

writers_blaydon@yahoo.co.uk

I'LL PUBLISH THEM ON THIS SITE (IF THEY'RE DECENT.) Fred

We would like to invite writers unfortunate to be spurned by magazines and publishers to send their articles/stories/poems to our email address: writers_blaydon@yahoo.co.uk I will add them to this site for general comment and appraisal. This has been possible through the generosity of Gateshead Council and John's letter of invitation published in NAWG magazine: 'The link.'(John the Sec)

I was checking our emails the other night and realise that I had neglected this page for some time now. In an effort to make amends here are some of your emails. Fred.

Well, well, well, what a treat. Your site is extremely entertaining. The variety of the writing is Heinzish, the quality M&S and I just loved the illustrations, especially the spooky ones. On a prosaic level (no pun intended) it's an easy site to manoeuvre. I'll surely look in again and catch up on some of the archived stories which I haven't got round to on first reading.

I really enjoyed looking through the site. I was looking for a recipe and stumbled upon Blaydon Writers. I have lived in Aussie since I was 12yrs old, but I'm still a Geordie. I love to read and hear the accent of my old home. Keep it up.

Wanted to let you know I think the site is wonderful and I enjoyed reading your members stories. We have some wonderful minds in this world, (it’s nice to see some are using them for the good :) Perhaps in time I will submit one of my own works for the pleasure, I hope, of your readers. Inspiration is wonderful, thank you all.
