BLAYDON WRITERS GROUP was established 12 years ago and now thrives as a mixed group of men and women. It's informal but we are serious about writing and it's heads down after a cup of tea.

THE GROUP MEETS AT:

St. Joseph's Presbytery, Shibdon Road, Blaydon

FROM: 1.30pm to 3.30pm. every Tuesday afternoon.

GROUP ACTIVITIES INCLUDE:

* Reading our poems and stories, with feedback from Members of the Group.

* Submitting work to local and national writing competitions where we have had some successes.

* Visiting and writing about local attractions such as the Angel of the North and the Millennium Bridge.
